Harley Roberts

Instructor & Choreographer

Harley’s passion for dance began at an early age. Starting recreationally, and then beginning her competitive journey at the age of seven. From then on Harley was exposed and trained in many styles of dance while competing nationally. During which time, she was introduced to many remarkable instructors, choreographers, and dancers. Harley’s dance journey continued as a member of her high schools Dance Team where she excelled in Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Pom. During that time Harley was nominated as a three time All American under the United Dance Association. Her high schools Dance Team was also invited to perform in the half time show of the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, CA and was invited back a second year to perform half time for the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando, FL. Harley was given the opportunity yet again to learn from instructors and choreographers such as Kristin Sudeikis, Lauren Froderman, and Erin Lustig.

Dance has taught Harley many life lessons that she continues to use in her everyday life. One of Harley’s favorite things about dance is the variety of opportunities that come with it. Everyone can find a style suitable for them. Dance is a great way to celebrate life and surround yourself with people who share the same passion. Harley is excited to begin a career with Infinity Dance Academy and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with the students and IDA community.

"To teach, to move, to inspire. This is the true gift of dance" - Aubrey Lynch

This perfect combo class is for the beginning dancer and introduces your dancer to different styles of dance in a high-energy and fun atmosphere. Through movement and music your child will explore a fun and structured learning space where imagination, coordination, listening skills, balance and motor development take place. This class is just the right length to keep your child’s attention while discovering movement. Dancers will learn ballet, tap, and tumbling skills.

This fun class introduces your child to tumbling by teaching them beginning tumbling skills such as bridge-ups, summersaults and many more.

Designed to help prepare dancers transitioning from Tiny Tot classes. Proposed still as a one-class setting, we offer two levels of combo classes. Each combo class will consist of the continuation on learning the basic/fundamentals of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz techniques.

Learn proper ballet technique. Ballet is the basis from which all other dance forms are originated. It improves grace, coordination, flexibility and confidence.

Dancers will explore a wide range of jazz dance styles while focusing on fundamentals, body placement, proper technique, developmental skills, and flexibility.  All music selections and dance moves are age appropriate.

Taught to popular and upbeat music. Designed to develop rhythm, sound, and style. Dancers will learn tap combinations, combos, and progressions in class.

Hip Hop is a high-energy classes that incorporate the latest street-style moves along with the latest fashionable dance genre. Although Hip Hop’s roots came from urban street dancing, it has become increasingly popular in the entertainment world. All music selections and dance moves are age appropriate.

A class that progresses from forward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, walkovers and round-offs to advanced tumbling. Once beginning skills are mastered, students move onto more difficult skills such as front and back handsprings, aerials, whips, and tucks. Dancers also practice acrobatic tricks including chest stands, elbow stands, and balances. All tumbling is done on mats.

A class that concentrates primarily on leaps and turns combinations/progressions across the floor and with flexibility. This class supports all areas of dance.

This class is perfect for students looking to take their training to the next level. By focusing specifically on exercises to promote core strength, balance and endurance. Strong focuses on advancing your dancer's flexibility as well as cardio.

Jazz Funk borrows a lot of movement from other dance styles. This class incorporates bits and pieces of different dance genres and wraps into a funky style that is both fun and expressive!

Pointe/Pre-Pointe is a class wherein the ballet dancer supports all their body weight on the tips of fully extended feet. Students are recommended for pointe based on age and ability.
